Bob's Outdoors is committed to total customer satisfaction!

If you ever have a question or complaint, please let us know and we will do our best to make it right.

We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.  For the fastest service, a return should be made within 30 days of purchase accompanied by the purchase invoice. Returns after 30 days will be on an inspection basis. Just email or call us and we will send you a Priority Mail Shipping label, or you can ship the item to us, we will reimburse you USPS Priority Mail charges. Please do not return your package COD (it will be refused). If you return your package by a more expensive shipping method, your full return shipping charges may not be reimbursed. If you need assistance call 877-455-7096. Please allow at least two weeks from the time you ship a return package for reordered merchandise to reach you.  If a refund is provided on a credit card order, it will be refunded directly to the same card or it may be delayed 60 days.

Your credit card will not be billed until your order is ready to be shipped, unless it's a special order or an item being shipped directly from the manufacturer.  Full payment is required before any merchandise is shipped.

Returned Check Fee - there will be a $50 fee for all returned checks.

Orders billed to or shipped to Michigan will be charged 6% Michigan Sales Tax if applicable.  The tax is a "sales and use" tax.  If you buy it here you must pay the sales tax, if you live here you must pay the use tax.  I will be happy to give you the governor of Michigan's address if you disagree with that.

The products sold here may contain lead and other substances that are known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects and other reproductive harm. Do not place your hands in your mouth after handling these products. Do not place the products in your mouth. Wash your hands after handling these products.

The hooks on these lures are sharp and can cause injury. Please be careful when using these products. Do not allow minors to use without adult supervision. Do not put hooks in your mouth.

If you are going to eat the fish caught with these products, please be sure to follow state hygiene guidelines on choosing, cooking, and preparing the fish to minimize the chances of getting sick.  Fish contain bones that can get caught in your mouth, throat, and other body parts.

Shipping Information

Domestic (US, including Alaska and Hawaii)

Normally we charge $6 flat rate for shipping on orders up to $99, and free shipping on orders over $99.

Any exceptions to this policy will be noted on our home page and/or on the specific item listing.

We normally use USPS Priority Mail.  This service gives us the best value for the number and size of packages we ship.

Some inexpensive and light items we may ship First Class and reduce your $6 rate.  Normally we do this only if it will save you money and the shipping time will be the same.  For example we will NOT do this the week before Christmas, or on packages to the West Coast, Alaska and Hawaii, as the shipping time can be very long.  Normally a package shipped to the Great lakes region will take the same time as priority mail.  The rate we charge you will be based on the postage and packaging costs.

You have the option of choosing UPS 2nd day air and UPS Next Day Air Saver at a flat rate.  You can see those rates at checkout.

We may use other carriers is we deem it necessary or more economical.

I normally do not insure packages.  I have something over 2000 shipments since I started this and 1 claim of damage.  Notable exceptions to this are rods (the one damaged item) and electronics, that are just too darn expensive to risk.

If you do experience shipping damage, please notify me immediately.  Since I choose the shipping method and pack the items, I would consider that covered under our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.  I will reserve the right to examine the merchandise.

International Shipping (Including Canada)

After yet again another fraud attempt (you guys must think I'm pretty stupid), I'll just lay it out so its simple.

I only ship to US, Canada, and certain European Countries, Great Britain, Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden, and Norway.  That takes care of 99.99% of my orders anyway.  See if you can get the big box stores to ship those rods to some island in Indonesia.

The only exception to this is US Military Personnel.  I will ship to a military location anywhere.

There may be additional shipping charges, email for cost.  You are responsible for duties. 

International orders require additional shipping charges and customs duty to be paid where applicable. We will not mark items as "gifts" or "samples" to avoid customs duties.  We will not reduce the value of a shipment to avoid duties.  We pay our taxes, we don't like it but we pay them, and we are a legitimate business.  We suggest that you use caution if you deal with a business that is willing to commit fraud at your request.  Shipping charges will be determined at the time of sale by us and we will send you the actual amount.

All items on this website are subject to availability.  Prices may change without prior warning.  You will be notified if a price changes before your card is charged.  Not responsible for typo's or other errors. 

 

Privacy Policy - your name, address, email address or any other personal information will never be sold or provided to any third party, except for order processing purposes, with the exception of law Enforcement, if we suspect fraud or other illegal activity.  We may email you our selves, and we will remove you from this list at any time at your request.

 

We reserve the right not to do business with anyone.  We do not discriminate against anyone for any reason, including race, religion, gender, nationality or lifestyle.  We reserve the right to refuse to do business for credit reasons, if we suspect fraud, or for any reason other than those above.

We found a reason!  If after attempting to process two credit cards from the same buyer, the second card is still declined, we will no longer accept any orders from that person.

When you register with Bob's Outdoors- online, over the telephone or at our retail store - we collect whatever information you choose to provide. In addition, we maintain a record of your product interests, purchases and whatever else might enable us to enhance and personalize your shopping experience. We also monitor site use and traffic patterns to improve our website design and the products and services we offer.
